Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.



Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart.However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

Q: What is the "drop"?
A: The drop is the measurement from the top of the cornice to the bottom of the cornice.

Q: How do I determine if I need a 9", 12" or 15" drop?
A: It is a matter of personal preference but there are some general guidelines. A 9" drop is great for smaller windows like bathroom windows or in children's bedrooms. A 12" drop looks great on standard size windows and with standard ceiling heights. A 15" drop works well for larger windows and in rooms with tall ceilings and large furniture pieces. The 15" drop is most commonly used by Texture in our designs and most of the photos you see on our website are of the 15" drop. You may want to tack some fabric or cardboard above your window in the various drop heights to get an idea of what appeals to you.

Q: What length should I order?
A: Measure your window(s) from the outside of the trim or existing drapery hardware, whichever is greater. Add 2 inches to that measurement. For example: If your window measures 74 inches, you will make a cornice that is 76 inches long. You will order the cornice for windows up to 80" long. You will then cut 4" off of one of the extension pieces to get your custom size. You can also purchase your cornice kits and extension sets separately. Cornice kits come as a standard 48" long. Each extension kit is 32" long. Add as many extensions kits as necessary to achieve your desired length. For example if your window is 108", you will want your cornice to be 110" long. You will buy one cornice kit (48") plus two extension kits (32" each) . 48" + 32" + 32" = 112". This will give you the 110" that you need for your cornice and you will have 2" left over. You can either cut off the remaining 2" or decide to leave it on.

Q: I have a bay window. Can I use Creative Cornices on my window?
A: Absolutely! We have a special bay window adapter that will allow the cornice to bend around the angles. There are two adapters per kit, which will accommodate most bay windows. Order additional adapters if your bay window has more than two angles. The adapters have a soft foam center and can bend up to a 90 degree angle. Measure you window from the outer edge of the first window, following the angles and ending at the outer edge fo the last window. Order the appropriate length cornice and add a Bay Window Adapter Kit. Instructions and hardware are included.

Q: I have corner windows. Can I use Creative Cornices?
A: Yes! Just order a Corner Window Adapter along with the appropriate length Cornice Kit. The cornice will start at the outside of the first window, bend around the corner at a 90 degree angle and end at the outside of the second window. A Corner Window Adapter is the same as half of a Bay Window Adapter Kit.

Q: How much fabric will I use?
A: Fabric Requirements are discussed at length in the directions and DVD that will come with your kit. Each drop has slightly different requirements. However, as a general guideline, you will need three strips of fabric that will be 12" wide by the length of your cornice plus 26 inches. If your cornice is 48 inches long, you will cut three strips of fabric that are 12" x 74". Please read the directions before cutting/ordering your fabric. Allowances need to be made for things such as pattern repeats.
